Who We Are
Maruthi Vidya Kendra Belagumba is a co-educational school, affiliated to The Central Board of Secondary Education, Govt. Of India, New Delhi (CBSE Affiliation No.: 830112) is conveniently located about 4 kms from the heart of Tumakuru at Belagumba and spread over 4 acres of campus offering state of the art facilities for a progressive, child-centric and holistic development of students.
The foundation of Maruthi Vidya Kendra Belagumba was laid by Late K. Venkataramaiah endearingly called KVR in the year 2004. He started his career as a teacher at the grass-roots level and grew into an institution himself, developing the small school into Maruthi Education Trust. He dedicated his life to the cause of education and the all-round development of children. He remained an integral and active part of the institutions he founded, keeping himself in ever affectionate touch with the children till the last breath of his life. He is our beacon of inspiration and hope.

Building Parental Connections
Parental engagement plays a pivotal role in shaping children’s education within the school environment. Beyond the confines of the classroom, parental encouragement and support are recognized as vital factors for fostering participation in diverse activities and fostering the comprehensive growth of a child. At our institution, we firmly advocate for a collaborative alliance between parents and the school, working hand in hand to meet the educational requirements of each child, resulting in clearly improved outcomes. By uniting parents and educators, we cultivate a harmonious scholastic journey that maximizes a child’s capacity for learning and personal development.
To foster a healthy relationship between the parents and teachers, the teaching staff of MVK Belagumba is available for individual consultation by prior appointment to discuss academic, personal and social development of their child.

Healthcare
The school has a well equipped infirmary that provides first aid to the students in need. The basic physical development of the students are also checked and reported by the school.
Yearly health checkups are also conducted by Physicians, Opthamologists and Dentists.
Regular workshops on Health and Hygiene are also conducted to educate the children on the importance of personal hygiene.
Apart from physical health, equal importance is given to mental health and well being as well. The students have access to an in house counselor who conducts regular workshops and seminars on the importance of mental health and behavior. Regular counseling sessions are also conducted for the parents.
